WBZ-TV's Kate Merrill And Sailor Re-Enact Famous Photo

BOSTON (CBS) - You never know what will happen on live television.

During the broadcast Thursday night of the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, WBZ-TV's Kate Merrill got quite a surprise.

Petty officer first class Jason Thompson of Detroit re-enacted this famous photo from Times Square at the end of World War II.
