Tow Truck Driver Arrested After Making 'Sexually-Themed' Comments To Women

BOSTON (CBS) – A tow truck driver accused of making unwanted sexual advances toward women in his cab is now facing charges.

State Police say 37-year-old Mathew Walsh of "Perfection Towing" made the comments to two women he picked up in the Framingham area of the Mass. Pike.

One of the women was stopped by State Police for driving with a revoked registration and the other was in a crash. Police say both women rode with Walsh as he towed their vehicles and he made "repeated and unwanted sexually-themed comments."

Walsh, of Nashua, N.H., was charged with two counts of accosting or annoying a person of the opposite sex and will be arraigned in Framingham District Court on Friday.

State Police say they will no longer call the Watertown towing company.

Anyone who has had a similar experience should call Massachusetts State Police Troop E at (617) 946-3060.
