Walsh Heads To Colorado To Discuss Possible Boston 2024 Summer Olympics

BOSTON (CBS) - Mayor Marty Walsh heads west Thursday to meet with the U.S. Olympic Committee in Colorado Springs to talk about Boston's potential bid for the 2024 summer games.

Walsh told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 this is a preliminary informational meeting "to find out the parameters, what's expected of a city that would host an Olympics" and discuss "what we would have to do to be competitive in the bid."
