2-Year-Old Struck By Car In Walpole

WALPOLE (CBS) – A 2-year-old child was hit by a car Friday afternoon in Walpole.

It happened around 4 p.m. on Lincoln Road.

A medical helicopter was called for the child.

Police say the child was conscious and alert when they were flown to a Boston hospital.

Chief John Carmichael said further, "his long-term prognosis looks good but he sustained some head, facial and upper body injuries."

The driver stopped after the crash.
