Frozen Veggies Sold At Walmart, Target Recalled Over Listeria Risk

SEATTLE (CBS) – Another frozen food recall due to listeria contamination is affecting brands sold at Walmart and Target.

The FDA says certain varieties of Walmart's Great Value Mixed Vegetables, Steamable Mixed Vegetables and Sweet Peas, along with Target's Market Pantry Sweet Peas and Market Pantry Steam-In-Bag Mixed Vegetables are possibly contaminated.

The recall also includes Bountiful Harvest, First Street and Live Smart brands. The affected products were sold between September and June.

Listeria can make the young, frail and elderly very sick, and has been responsible for the recall of hundreds of frozen food products.

The recalled products can be returned to stores for a full refund.
