State Police Search Walden Pond In Concord For Missing Man

CONCORD (CBS) – Search teams will be back out at Walden Pond on Saturday looking for a missing man.

Items belonging to the 53-year-old man from Cambridge were found by the water on Thursday. Using his ID, police went to the man's home, but he was not there. State Police say the man was the pond, most likely for recreational purposes, earlier this week.

Troopers searched the pond, shoreline and trails for about eight hours Friday, following a lengthy search Thursday afternoon and evening.
