VT Man Pleads Not Guilty In NH To Killing Wife

NEWPORT, N.H. (AP) — A Vermont man has pleaded not guilty in a New Hampshire courtroom to charges that he killed his estranged wife.

James Robarge of Saxtons River, Vt., appeared for his arraignment Thursday morning in Newport on charges of first- and second-degree murder.

Kelly Robarge disappeared from her Charlestown home on June 27, the day she filed for divorce. Her body was found July 6 in a wooded area in Unity.

At the time of his arrest in July, Robarge was being held in Vermont on three motor vehicle charges.

The state is seeking no bail for Robarge. At a hearing following the arraignment, police testified about blood found in the front entryway to Kelly Robarge's home, and in the bathroom and living room. DNA tests say it's her blood.
