Vigil Held For Brookline Couple Killed In Back Bay Crash

BOSTON (CBS) - Dozens of mourners held a candlelight vigil at the Beacon Street intersection where a Brookline couple was killed Saturday night. Jack Lanzillotti and Jessica Campbell were walking in the Back Bay when they were struck and killed by an out of control SUV.

Wednesday night, friends of the couple gathered at that scene.

"Jessica was quite a spitfire of a person with lots of energy, an infectious smile, very engaging," explained Campbell's coworker David Willoughby. "She brought the office to life. And we're hurting right now."

Several neighbors also attended the memorial.

"The neighborhood has a very heavy heart and a lot of people are very sad and angry," said Sam Wallace, whose home is right in front of the accident scene.

Boston Police have yet to decide what charges the man and woman who were in that SUV might face.
