Van Slams Through Front Of Nashua, NH, Cafe

NASHUA, N.H. (CBS) – A New Hampshire business is closed Saturday after a van slammed through its storefront.

Firefighters in Nashua, N.H., were called to Norton's Café at the intersection of Main and West Hollis Streets.

A transportation van and another car crashed, forcing the van through the café's storefront early Saturday morning.

There were only two employees inside at the time of the crash preparing to open the business for the day.

Four people were brought to nearby Southern New Hampshire Medical Center following the crash, though the extent of their injuries was not known.

Both drivers were hospitalized along with a woman and child who were in the van.

The building inspector was asked to assess the damage. It was determined the café would remain closed until the building meets structural requirements.

"Someone has crashed into our building. I don't know the details, but if we can open, we will, if we can't open right away, please don't forget about us! We will keep you posted," the business wrote on its Facebook page.

Nashua police are investigating the crash.
