'Untimely Death' Of Manchester, NH, Toddler Under Investigation

MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) – The death of a New Hampshire toddler is under investigation.

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph Foster and the Manchester Police Department are probing what they call the "untimely death" of a 21-month-old child.

A resident of Belmont Street called 911 on Saturday around 1:30 p.m.

The young girl was rushed to Children Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock, but she died Sunday night.

An autopsy on the child is scheduled for Tuesday.

Police do not believe there is any threat to the public at this time.
