2 UMass Dartmouth Students Hurt In Crash

DARTMOUTH (CBS) -- Two students at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth were injured when the car they were in hit a pole early Saturday morning.

Dartmouth Police said the crash happened on State Road near Arcadia Avenue around 12:52 a.m., when a Toyota Camry hit a utility pole.

The driver, Mustafa Alkhatatbeh, and his passenger, Harrianne Errie, both 19, were in stable condition Saturday at Rhode Island Hospital.

The crash is still under investigation, and the cause was not yet known.
