Two People Shot At Ruggles MBTA Station Friday Night

BOSTON (CBS) - A 19-year-old man is under arrest following a double shooting at Ruggles MBTA Station.

Transit Police say Terrell Harris of Dorchester opened fire in the lower busway area of the station on Friday night around 8:50 p.m.

A 34-year-old man and a 20-year-old man both suffered non-life threatening gun shot wounds.

Both victims were taken to area hospitals. They have not been publicly identified.

Police say the victims were not together, and that the 34-year-old did not appear to be the intended target of the shooting.

Harris was arrested a short time later and charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous weapon along with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

He is set to be arraigned on Tuesday in Roxbury District Court.
