Two Pedestrians Injured In Separate Accidents In Somerville

SOMERVILLE (CBS) – Two pedestrians were injured in two separate accidents in Somerville Wednesday night.

Both people were hit while walking on Route 28.

A 29-year-old woman from Somerville suffered life-threatening injuries when she was struck by a car driven by a Hanover woman at about 5:45 p.m.

While police were investigating the first accident, a 20-year-old Somerville man was struck by a pickup truck driven by a Chelmsford man about 200 yards away. He suffered serious injuries.

State Police are investigating the crashes. No charges have currently been filed.
