Two Pedestrians Injured In Brockton Hit-And-Run

BROCKTON (CBS) -- Police are looking for the driver of a car involved in an alleged hit-and-run on Newbury Street in Brockton just before midnight Thursday.

Two men, ages 22 and 23, had stepped out of a car that was pulled over on the side of the road. The car behind them swerved to pass but ended up striking them. The driver didn't stop.

Brockton's Mayor Bill Carpenter told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 police are looking for a black Honda or Ford that has significant front and passenger side damage. The car is also missing a passenger side mirror.

The victims were taken to Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
