Turkey Sightings Reported In Boston, Cambridge

BOSTON (CBS) --- Some Bostonians were treated to an unusual site Monday morning. A turkey was spotted on the roof of a car parked on Staniford Street.

There's no word on how the turkey got to Staniford Street or what it was doing atop a parked car.

The turkey was also spotted trotting along the streets on the Financial District.

Other turkey-sightings were reported in Cambridge on Mass. Ave.

It's unclear if the one turkey was spotted in both locations.

Turkeys prefer forests and woodsy backyards, according to Cornell's Lab or Ornithology, but as habitats shrink, turkeys have been spotted in more urban settings.
