Truck Spills Hundreds Of Soda Bottles In Stoughton Intersection

STOUGHTON (CBS) – Police got a helpful hand from some Good Samaritans after a delivery truck lost a load of several hundred two-liter soda bottles.

Stoughton police posted a pair of photos to their Facebook page that show a truck stopped at the intersection of Central and Pleasant Streets, surrounded by a sea of Pepsi bottles.

According to Stoughton police, passing drivers stopped at the intersection to help clean up the mess despite the rainy and cold conditions.

"We did not get a chance to get names but to the people who stopped and helped clean this fiasco, thank you very much. It was cold and pouring rain and it was very much appreciated," police said.
