Transit Police Seek Man Who Threatened, Spat On MBTA Driver

BOSTON (CBS) – Transit police are looking for a man who during two encounters with the same bus driver allegedly spat on and threatened the driver.

Police said that in October a driver was assaulted and spat on by a man who was on a Route #33 MBTA bus near the intersection of River Street and George Street in Boston.

On December 18 at about 1:45 p.m., the driver noticed the same man on River Street in Hyde Park, police said.

When the man attempted to board the bus, police said the driver quickly shut the door "in fear" as the man yelled "When I see you again I'm going to kill you."

Police are looking to identify the man, who is described as 20-25 years old, about 5'8" tall with a thin build, and sandy brown hair.
