Transit Police: Man On Moped Threatened Bus Driver With Weapon

BOSTON (CBS) – Transit police are searching for a suspect who allegedly threatened an MBTA bus driver with a weapon while driving a moped.

According to transit police, on October 30 at about 2:40 p.m., a man on a moped allegedly threatened an MBTA bus driver with a weapon in the area of Dudley Street and Blue Hill Ave.

The driver, who can be seen on MBTA security footage, is described as a black man with a medium build and short hair.

At the time of the incident, the man was wearing a North Face vest over a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers.

Anyone with information on the incident or the suspect is asked to call the Transit Police Criminal Investigations Unit at (617) 222-1050.
