Transit Police: Man Claiming To Be A Ninja Assaults Woman

BOSTON (CBS) – Transit police say a 30-year-old man claiming to be a ninja assaulted a woman at an MBTA station and challenged officers to a fight.

Officers were called to the Downtown Crossing station on a report of an assault about 9:05 a.m. on Thursday.

A woman told police that she was assaulted by a man while walking from the Orange Line to the Red Line. The victim pointed out the man, who was seated on a nearby bench.

Police tried to take the man into custody but he refused and confronted police. They got the man under control and arrested him.

Josue Estrada, of Boston, has been charged with indecent assault and battery.

He is expected to be arraigned Friday in Boston Municipal Court-Central Division.
