Tractor-Trailer Rollover Snarls Traffic On Mass. Pike
BOSTON (CBS) - Traffic on the Mass. Pike was backed up for miles after a tractor-trailer rolled over in Charlton.
The crash happened at about 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
State Police say the driver of the tractor-trailer was traveling westbound when he lost control of the vehicle. The tractor came to rest in the left travel lane of the westbound side, while the trailer came to rest on the eastbound side, blocking the two left travel lanes.
One of the truck's fuel tanks ruptured, leaking approximately 100 gallons of diesel fuel.
The truck driver, a North Carolina man, was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
