Toucher & Rich: Why Hasn't Cardinals Hacking Scandal Been A Bigger Deal?

BOSTON (CBS) - 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich talked some baseball on Tuesday morning with Matt Snyder of CBS Sports, most notably the Cardinals hacking scandal that doesn't seem to be getting a lot of play around the country.

Why is that?

"We did [talk about it a lot] at first, but then Alex Rodriguez got his 3000th hit, and now we have the Pete Rose stuff from yesterday, the Royals voting in the All-Star game stuff; it just seems like everything is over-saturated," Snyder said.

Adding, "We still have to cover what's going on on the field as well, and there's a lot of exciting stuff going on on the field, especially with all the exciting young players getting brought up and playing so well. Maybe it's just been buried."

Snyder concludes that the lack of coverage is likely due to a number of factors, including waiting to see how the investigation bears out.

If only the Patriots were given that same courtesy for DeflateGate.
