Toucher & Rich: Scientist Matthew Slater Not A Fan Of Experiments With Kickoffs
BOSTON (CBS) -- Somehow, some way, Patriots special teams ace Matthew Slater became a bit of a legendary figure on the Toucher & Rich program.
Basically, the guys are amazed/impressed/mystified that a captain of an NFL team can seem like ... well, like a nerd.
It's really based on nothing except a few pictures and one audio clip, so on Monday, the guys decided to put Slater to the test in a segment we'll call "Wait so does Matthew Slater really sound like a nerd?"
The answer? Well, you'll have to see for yourself, but let's just say there were many references to LARPing and J.R.R Tolkien and hobbits and Dungeons & Dragons and robots and Civil War reenactments and the like.
