Toucher & Rich: Goucher Goes To The Olympics

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Olympics are over, but the memories will last forever. Right?

From epic handball matches to riveting horse dancing routines, these lesser-known events need to have someone lend their voice for play-by-play. Like those watching at home, some of the commentators knew next-to-nothing about the events, minus a crash course just ahead of the Olympics.

CSNNE's Mike Gorman, the voice of the Boston Celtics, was phenomenal in whatever event he called, whether it was Men's basketball or the handball semis. So that got Toucher and Rich wondering why no one placed a call to Dave Goucher, the radio voice of the Boston Bruins on 98.5 The Sports Hub. So to help Goucher get to the 2020 games in Tokyo, they had him do a special "Goucher Goes To The Olympics" -- a demo tape if you will.

So Goucher lended his golden pipes to some of the more memorable moments of the Rio games, from a defecating race walker, a pole vaulter whose manhood got in the way of a gold medal, and a wrestling striptease.

Enjoy, and let's get Goucher to Tokyo in four years!
