Toucher & Rich: Dave Richard's Week 15 Fantasy Football Advice

BOSTON (CBS) - 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich were joined by CBS Sports fantasy football guru Dave Richard Thursday morning to help break down the upcoming week and provide his expert advice.

T&R listeners phoned in with their questions for Dave, and here were his responses:

Isaiah Crowell, Jonathan Stewart or Dan Herron?

"I like Jonathan Stewart this week. I know people are freaking out because Cam Newton got injured in that car accident and isn't going to play this week, but Derek Anderson has done a nice job replacing him when he started in Week 1. I think Stewart is going to get a lot of work this week. The one thing you've got to watch out for is if DeAngelo Williams comes back. If Williams plays that will hurt Stewart, but if he doesn't then Stewart is a Top 12 running back."

Expectations for Johnny Manziel's first start?

"I think he'll be okay. I would put him in the category of, 'I've got a crappy quarterback and I'm taking a chance no matter what, so I might as well start Manziel.' I would put him in the same boat as Andy Dalton, Ryan Tannehill, Joe Flacco, Colin Kaepernick and maybe even Mark Sanchez. If you're thinking about playing those guys you might as well play Johnny Football."

Start Jay Cutler or Matt Ryan?

"I love Matt Ryan, but it's totally contingent on if Julio Jones plays because Pittsburgh has been so terrible against the pass. The Steelers have given up a deep touchdown to a wide receiver in each of the last six games; they can't stop anyone. That defense is pathetic and the Falcons are playing at home; they don't have a great record, but they're still in the playoff hunt believe it or not so I think you're going to see Matt Ryan potentially have a monster game. If Julio Jones plays then watch out, because Ryan could be the best quarterback this week."

Start Jordan Matthews or Brandon LaFell?

"I like Jordan Matthews against Dallas. It's going to be a high scoring game between the Eagles and the Cowboys, and Matthews should outperform LaFell this week."

Start Mike Evans or Julian Edelman in PPR?

"In a PPR league Julian Edelman is tough to beat. He's done a great job against the Dolphins every time he's played them, and clearly he's involved in what the Patriots are doing on offense. The fact that it's full PPR does make me lean towards him."
