Here's How Players Around The NFL Reacted To Tom Brady's Overturned Suspension
BOSTON (CBS) -- It's been 24 hours since Judge Berman nullified Tom Brady's 4-game suspension and ostensibly ended the outrageous mess that was DeflateGate.
"Was." It feels great to finally speak of this fiasco in the past tense. I say "ostensibly ended" because the NFL still plans to appeal, but for all intents and purposes you can finally stop talking about air pressure and focus on actual football.
But since Thursday's news is still reverberating throughout the sports world, there's still plenty to wring from the story, even as it finally starts to dry up. NFL players from all around the league had their reactions on Twitter, and you may be surprised to learn it was mostly pro-Brady.
No, Brady's peers are not crying that he "got away with cheating" like so many salty fans outside of New England are. They're mostly supporting the NFLPA and their enormous victory, or kicking Roger Goodell while he's down.
Brady's teammates were obviously pumped.
Let's go! This season to be one heck of another ride!! #PatsNation pic.twitter.com/vFZ1vmBxAq

Most players praised the NFLPA for the win.
The "deflate gate" Ruling is monumental for the players and it's defense against "potential" grievances against the nfl!!! ????✊????✊????

Good work Tom and @NFLPA ✊????

Good job @NFLPA https://t.co/OaxUK9lnsm

@NFLPA what's the statute of limitations to file suit vs @NFL for other fines/suspensions made at @nflcommish's discretion? #chinkinarmor
— James Harrison (@jharrison9292) September 3, 2015
Opinions aside, I'm glad a player got the best of the league.

Others just laughed in Goodell's face.

And some just couldn't help but respect Brady for beating the league.
Teflon Tom ????

Tom Brady out here like https://t.co/WHxTJrm2BJ
— Golden Tate (@ShowtimeTate) September 3, 2015
But of course, a Colts player wasn't happy about it...
SMH!!!!!!!!!
— Erik Walden (@E_Ninety3) September 3, 2015
It's OK, Walden knows keeping Brady off the field is the only way they can beat the Patriots these days. TB12 was going to suit up Week 6 against the Colts either way, and knowing how the Patriots use "bulletin board material" to their advantage it wouldn't shock me in the least if Brady throws it to Gronk right on Walden for a touchdown just for this single tweet.
What was your reaction to the Brady news? Surely you have a take.
