Tom Brady Thankful For Family And Football In Thanksgiving Facebook Post

BOSTON (CBS) -- Tom Brady may have had to sit out the Patriots' practice on Thursday, but there was no way he was going to miss spending quality time with his family on Thanksgiving.

The Patriots QB has built quite the presence on Facebook in the past year, and took to the social network on Thursday to wish his followers a Happy Thanksgiving. He posted a photo of himself making cookies with his son.

Brady's wife Gisele Bundchen posted the same photo, along with another on her Instagram page of their children checking out the food for Thanksgiving.

"It's easy to feel thankful on a day like today, surrounded by people you love, good food, football," said Brady in his Facebook post. "It's a great reminder of what's most important in life, and how good it can be. On that note, I hope you all have a great day with memories worth hanging onto for a long time to come. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!"

Patriots fans are surely thankful for everything the 39-year-old future Hall-of-Famer has done for the team and continues to do on a weekly basis.
