Toddler In Mass. State Police Toy Cruiser Steals Show At Halloween Parade

BOSTON (CBS) -- A toddler decked out in a police officer costume, riding in a Massachusetts State Police toy cruiser recently stole the show at Halloween parade in Pennsylvania.

Griffin, nephew of Massachusetts State Police Trooper Phil Giardino, finished in second place in the costume contest at the Springfield Pennsylvania Halloween Parade, according to the State Police Facebook page.

"He came (in) second to a witch on what we believe is a unregistered broom," quipped police on their Facebook page. "Griffin is still investigating that one!"

The youngster, who lives in Pennsylvania, appears to be wearing a dark blue police officer's uniform, sucking on his blue-and-white pacifier, while sitting inside his Little Tikes Cozy Coupe with the State Police logo emblazoned on the doors.
