Time-Restricted Eating Does Not Help With Weight Loss, New Study Says

BOSTON (CBS) - A new study published in the New England Journal of Medicine finds that restricting your calorie intake to an 8-hour window may not make a difference when it comes to weight loss.

Researchers looked at 139 obese adults and found that there was no significant difference in weight loss, body fat, or metabolic risk between those who ate all their calories between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and those who consumed the same number of calories but at any time of day.
