Three Injured During Crash Involving MBTA Van

BOSTON (CBS) – Three people were treated for minor injuries after a pickup truck and MBTA van collided in Saugus.

On Monday morning police responded to Walnut Street and Birchwood Ave., where a passenger van had rolled over.

Two passengers and the driver on an MBTA RIDE van were injured during the crash.

The driver of this pickup truck will be summonsed after a Saugus crash. (WBZ)

 

The driver of the pickup truck involved, a 28-year-old man, was summonsed to court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, according to the MBTA.

One of the MBTA passengers was taken to an area hospital with cuts and bruises, while the driver and second passenger were treated at the scene.
