Third Crash In 3 Days At Westwood Underpass
WESTWOOD (CBS) – For the third time in three days there's been a crash at an underpass in Westwood.
Two cars crashed under the East Street bridge Wednesday morning, a day after a truck carrying $100,000 worth of lobster slammed into the overpass.
In Wednesday's accident, one car veered too far to the right, hit a curb and then struck another car head-on under the bridge. One person was taken to the hospital. (Watch video of crash above)
On Tuesday, a truck driver was charged with operating a motor vehicle negligently and failing to obey signs, after trying to push his 13-foot tall truck through the 10-foot, 6-inch clearing.
Another too tall truck struck the bridge on Monday.
