A growing number of Americans say personal privacy is more important than being kept safe from terrorists.

A new Associated Press-GfK poll found more than 60 percent of those asked said they value privacy over anti-terror protections. That's up slightly from 58 percent in a similar poll done in August. The survey has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.

The issue has been one for debate, since former NSA analyst Edward Snowden disclosed information about the surveillance programs involving phone records from hundreds of millions of Americans.

How would you have answered the poll? Why do you think privacy or being kept safe from terrorism is more important? Share your comments below, and watch for them on WBZ News in the Morning from 4:30 - 7:00am.
