Even though the name gives you a pretty good idea, Hardy talked with the man behind the device, David Keller, about how he took an idea scribbled on a Post-it note and turned it into an actual putting training tool.

What do golf professionals do in the off months?

Some head south, while others like the Milton Hoosic Club's Todd Cook get busy with some inclement weather-friendly activities.

Hardy and Todd talk about his work with PGA Junior League and the Marina Bay Sportsplex, where golfers can participate in a number of activities to keep them busy if the snow puts an end to the season.

Nine hole courses are becoming more and more common, but South Weymouth's Weathervane Golf Club has a couple of twists.

Golfers can play from one of FIVE sets of tees, and there's an entire separate facility for practice and indoor play; the Weathervane Golf Academy in Hingham.
