The Adam Jones Show: Offensive Onslaught Continues As Bruins Pound Panthers 6-2

BOSTON (CBS) - The Bruins picked up a 6-2 victory tonight at the TD Garden over the Florida Panthers and former teammate and goaltender Tim Thomas.

The team improves to 5-0-1 in their last 6 games and currently have a four point lead in the Atlantic Division over the second place Tampa Bay Lightning.

The home win makes it four in a row for the B's, who have now scored a whopping 18 goals in their last 3 games.

Adam Jones spoke with Dave Goucher and Bob Beers of the Bruins Radio Network for a postgame summary.

Kalman: Bruins' Top Six In Dominant Form

"The Bruins had hit the skids a little bit on that west coast trip losing two out of three, and after the Toronto loss it started to turn around. It's been nice to see, especially the goal scoring over the last three games where everybody has been on board. The [Patrice] Bergeron line has been on fire, tonight the [David] Krejci line did a lot of damage. It's been good to see," said Goucher.

Tim Thomas did not look like the Vezina Trophy winner of old after allowing 6 goals to his former team. However, the Panthers defense is nothing special and they didn't provide him with much help.

"The Bruins are hot right now; they're getting the breaks and that's part of it, but Thomas had a couple pucks I'm sure he'd like to have back. It wasn't a very strong performance from Florida defensively, but I thought the Bruins were by far the better team," said Bob Beers.
