Tewksbury Driver Injured When Falling Tree Crushes Jeep

TEWKSBURY (CBS) - A driver was sent to the hospital after a large tree fell onto a green Jeep on East Street, crushing the vehicle.
The driver, who was the only vehicle occupant, suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, police said. Their condition was not immediately known on Friday.
East Street will remain closed until the tree and utilities are cleared from the road, police said.
