Taylor Swift's Boston Children's Hospital Performance A Big Hit With Little Patient

BOSTON (CBS) – Taylor Swift has performed in large venues for thousands of fans but on Sunday she put on a special show for an audience of one to rave reviews.

Swift made a surprise visit to Boston Children's Hospital where she performed her hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," for 6-year-old Jordan Nickerson.

Jordan is in Children's after being diagnosed with leukemia last month. He also suffers from Williams Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that causes physical and developmental disabilities. And at 18 months old Jordan underwent open heart surgery for a severe heart condition.

A hospital spokeswoman told the Boston Globe that Swift just wanted to come to Children's and hang out with the kids.

In a video shared on a Facebook page for Jordan, Jordan's Brave Page, the young fan can be seen with a big smile on his face, dancing and singing along with Swift in his hospital room.

Based on the video, it appears Jordan has a very big heart for a little boy who has been through a lot.

This was not Swift's first impromptu visit to a New England hospital to perform for young patients.

In March, she and her father made a surprise appearance at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence and stayed for five hours spending time with the kids and performing.

Swift has been an occasional resident of Rhode Island since purchasing a home on Watch Hill in 2013.
