Bertucci's Waitress Stabbed During Taunton Rampage Gives Birth

TAUNTON (CBS) – A Bertucci's waitress who was pregnant when she was stabbed during the Taunton rampage announced that she has given birth.

Sheenah Savoy posted on Facebook Thursday night that she is "feeling thankful."

Savoy did not reveal the gender or name of her baby, but shared that the baby is 9.7 pounds and 22 inches long.

In May, Savoy was attacked by Arthur DaRosa inside a Taunton Bertucci's.

Restaurant patron George Heath came to her defense and was killed during a struggle. Off-duty Plymouth County Sherriff's Deputy James Creed then shot and killed the knife-wielding suspect.
