Massachusetts Homeowners Making Money To Rent Out Backyard Pools

BOSTON (CBS) – Forget renting out your house or condo. Some Massachusetts residents are renting out their backyard pool.

Homeowners are making money by renting out their pools on an app called Swimply.

Right now, there are 24 different listings across the state, ranging from $25 an hour up to $129 an hour.

A Swimply spokesperson said during the summer, some hosts are making as much as $5,000 per month.
