Body Found In Burned Out Car In Worcester Cemetery

WORCESTER (CBS) - Worcester Police hope the public may have some information about the burning car and body found at a city cemetery.

Emergency crews were called to Hope Cemetery around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday for a car on fire. Once the fully-engulfed sedan was extinguished, they discovered human remains inside.

Investigators say they know the owner of the car, but wouldn't release any other details about that victim. Police spent hours carefully collecting what was inside, before the Medical Examiner's Office took the body and that car was towed away as evidence.
