Media Day LIVE Blog: Gronk Reads From 'A Gronking To Remember'

PHOENIX (CBS) --  The Seahawks have now taken over Media Day, with Marshawn Lynch now answering questions.

Well, sort of. He's replying to every question he's asked, "I'm just here so I won't get fined."

At least he's being honest.

1:20 p.m. EST: Rob Gronkowski is well aware of the erotic novel "A Gronking To Remember," though he admitted that he hasn't read the whole thing.

However, Rich Shertenlieb got him to read the famous "butt cheeks" line for all to hear:

It's safe to say that Gronkowski owned Media Day.

1:15 pm EST: Forget locker room dancers. How about Bill Belichick's favorite stuffed animal?!?

Asked about his favorite stuffed friend by Jerod Mayo's young daughter, Belichick said it was a monkey puppet. He even cracked a smile while answering.

12:45 pm EST: Here is the type of hard-hitting journalism that comes out of Media Day.

Rob Gronkowski said Julian Edelman is the worst dancer on the team. The best dancer? Himself, of course.

"Since I'm the only one who really whips out the dance moves."

Gronk showed off some of his moves later on, and even sang some Katy Perry. He later admitted that Chandler Jones is a pretty good dancer, but even the defensive end would agree that No. 87 has the best moves on the team.

Edelman may not be a great dancer, but he's certainly winning the mustache game.

12:35 pm EST: What a surprise, the first question for Bill Belichick was about "Deflategate." The coach gave his usual response.

"We're focused on Seattle. That's where our attention is. We're not really focused on anything else."

Also, Bill is wearing flip flops.

And is there any doubt this guy will have a lot of fun this time around?

Last time Gronk was at Media Day, all the focus was on his sprained left ankle.

12:30 pm EST: Media Day is about to begin!

The Patriots have taken the field, with Bon Jovi's "This Is Our House" playing over the speakers. Now they'll be bombarded with a wide array of questions from a wide array of reporters and media members.

Stick with us throughout the afternoon as we bring you all the fun (and all the madness) from Arizona.

11:45 am EST: Before all the fun starts, here's a little tour of what Media Day looks like before the teams arrive for their sessions.

While the players aren't here yet, there is already a big collection of media members.

And our friends on WBZ-TV were busy before everyone else:

10:45 am EST: We're still a few hours away from the start of all the Media Day fun, but people are already starting to arrive at US Airways Arena.

Gresh & Zo will be the only Boston radio station broadcasting live from Media Day, and will be getting their share of guests throughout the Patriots' session.

5:00 am EST: Good morning, and happy Super Bowl Media Day!

If you're reading this from the Boston area, then I hope you're doing all right with the snow. I'm sure you'd love to be in the desert, but know that it sprinkled last night, so it's been pretty tough out here as well. We'll all have to do our best in these trying times.

Monday was a solid kickoff to the Patriots' Super Bowl week, mostly due to Robert Kraft's emphatic statement of support for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. When Robert Kraft speaks, the football world listens, so there's no way to really overstate the power of what he said as it relates to the ongoing investigation into deflated footballs. Clearly, the Patriots owner has had enough, and he's angry at the hit his coach, quarterback and team have taken in terms of public perception.

Despite Belichick essentially closing off all talk on deflated balls, that's still probably going to be a part of the story today, when every single player and coach is made available to the media. It's going to be a zoo, as always, but make sure to check back with CBS Boston throughout the day for highlights of the best stories from the day. The Patriots take the floor at US Airways Center at 12:30 p.m. ET (10:30 a.m. local), and the Seahawks will take the floor at 2:15 p.m. ET (12:15 p.m. local). It should be a fun one ... and I think Richard Sherman might say something. Just a hunch.

To give you a picture of what's going in Super Bowl land ... there really isn't much of a picture just yet. There are a few blocks in downtown Phoenix that serve as Super Bowl headquarters, but it's not yet completed. Crews were busy today building up stages, structures, artwork -- really, all stuff you'd think would have been finished by now. Alas, Phoenix is not quite in full-on Super Bowl mode. There were some stray fans roaming the streets today -- I saw a father in son wearing Chicago Bears jerseys, the father wearing Dick Butkus, the son Brandon Marshall, and I saw a Vikings family, like from the commercial! -- but downtown was overall pretty quiet. I expect that to change.

In terms of logistics, the Seahawks are staying about 15 minutes Southeast of the city at the Arizona Grand, and the Patriots are staying about 5-10 minutes further down the road at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Chandler. The Patriots' spot is quintessential Arizona, set back a good half-mile from any road, surrounded by a luscious green golf course that contrasts with the desert landscape. There are, obviously, cacti galore, and there's a tremendous police presence there to keep out any intruders. It's quite the scene.

I expect a much more exciting day in downtown Phoenix on Tuesday. Be sure to check back early and often on our Patriots page as our team provides updates throughout the day.
