Stoughton Man Killed In Maine Golf Cart Crash

SOUTH BERWICK, MAINE (CBS) – A Stoughton man was killed Wednesday after the golf cart he was riding in lost control and crashed.

South Berwick police announced on Thursday that Eric S. Sullivan, 27, of Stoughton was the passenger of a golf cart that was being driven on the cart path of The Links at Outlook Golf Course just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police said that the driver lost control and began to roll down a hill. Sullivan was ejected from the cart, suffering what police called "massive head trauma."

The driver of the cart was treated by paramedics for minor injuries at the scene and released.
