Stoughton Man Arrested For Massasoit Community College Sexual Assault

BROCKTON (CBS) – Massasoit Community College police announced on Friday that they arrested a man suspected in the second of two sexual assaults reported on campus last month.

Renald Calixte, of Stoughton, was the man arrested for the assault, which police said took place on Sept. 22 in the business building of Massasoit Community College's Brockton campus.

Officers arrested the 24-year-old suspect in cooperation with the Stoughton Police Department on Thursday at about 10:10 p.m.

According to a school official, Calixte is a Massasoit student who was arrested at his Stoughton home.

The alleged victim said that she was attacked in the hallway of the business building by a man who identified himself as a first year student. The victim did not know the man.

It was the second assault reported in four days at the school. Eliphete Pierre, a 22-year-old student, was arrested last month for another alleged sexual assault that took place on Sept. 19.

Pierre was charged with indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 and rape.

Calixte was arraigned in Brockton District Court on Friday afternoon.

WBZ-TV's Christina Hager reported that Calixte allegedly hugged, nuzzled, and licked the neck of a fellow student who he did not know.

Calixte had a mental evaluation, and the doctor said that despite his mental history, he was competent for the arraignment.
