600 Pounds Of Concrete Falls On Stoughton Construction Worker

STOUGHTON (CBS) – A Stoughton construction worker was injured Tuesday morning when a 600-pound slab of concrete fell and landed on his head.

Stoughton firefighters were called to a construction site on Schuman Ave. around 7:40 a.m.

A 36-year-old man was working in the area when the concrete fell and landed on him. It is unclear how high the concrete fell from.

The man told EMTs that he had no feeling from his chest down, but he was conscious and alert.

A MedFlight helicopter was called to the scene.
