Storms Cause Downed Trees, Flooding Across Eastern Mass.

BOSTON (CBS) -- Heavy rain and wind that moved through eastern Massachusetts led to falling trees and flooding.

Traffic was diverted on Route 9 near Route 126 in Framingham because of flooding.

Natick seemed to be among the hardest hit by the storm, with some parts of city experiencing hail. MBTA commuter rail trains were delayed at the Natick stop because of flooding on the tracks.

Some homes in the area were badly damaged by trees brought down by the sudden storm. Power outages were also reported.

The New England Revolution game was delayed after lightning was spotted from Gillette Stadium.
