Storm In The Holy Land

This is part one of a ten-part series featuring mini-vids that capture the essence of Israel. Israel is the best spot to visit in the Middle East because it is not just about Israel. One can get a sense here of both the fraternity and the enmity of many cultures in the area that is not possible in Cairo, Amman, or Istanbul.
Rockets hit family pools, Muslim Brotherhood sets tires afire at intersections to kidnap motorists when they get out of the car to clear the way, and beauty shop patrons watch the Iron Dome hit incoming missiles over their Jerusalem salon. Yet the worst in some brings out the best in others. The bonds between people of juxtaposed beliefs can be stronger here than anywhere else because the proximity of extremism bonds the tolerant.

No fancy equipment here. I am just a tourist with an iPad, experiencing exactly what you can if you go. If you can't go, then these videos will get you a little closer.
