Stop & Shop: $75 Coupon Seen On Facebook Is Fake

QUINCY (CBS) – If you see a coupon advertising $75 off at Stop & Shop, it's too good to be true.

The supermarket chain clarified this week that it's a fake and it can't be redeemed at Stop & Shop.

The fraudulent coupon asks people to take a survey to claim the coupon. Stop & Shop says shoppers shouldn't be sharing their personal information with anyone claiming to represent the supermarket.

We did not issue or authorize the $75 coupon circulating on Facebook, and it cannot be redeemed at Stop & Shop stores....
