State Police Probe Fatal Motorcycle Crashes In Revere, New Bedford

REVERE (AP) – Massachusetts State Police are investigating fatal motorcycle accidents in Revere and New Bedford.

Police say a motorcycle operated by 21-year-old Leon Chun of Revere crashed while trying to exit Route 16 east onto Route 107 at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Chun was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was pronounced dead of his injuries.

Police say a motorcycle driven by 29-year-old Ryan Levangie of Wareham went out of control and crashed into the tree line on Route 140 north in New Bedford at about 10 p.m. Wednesday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both deaths remain under investigation.
