Several Bears Spotted In Southbridge Neighborhood

SOUTHBRIDGE (CBS) -- Police are warning residents to stop feeding bears after several were spotted in a Southbridge neighborhood over the weekend.
Southbridge Police said the bears were spotted in the Alpine Drive and Lebanon Hill areas.
One woman even posted photos of one of the bears snacking from her bird feeder.
This bear was spotted on Lebanon Hill as well. Notice the bird feeders in the photo? Please do not leave any food out. They will find it!

Police reminded the public not to leave bird feeders, compost, or garbage outside, and said that bears will return to a source of food until the food is gone.
They also reminded people not to leave their pets out overnight.
