Somerville Bicyclist Killed In Medford Collision With Motorcycle
MEDFORD (CBS) – A bicyclist was killed Friday evening in Medford in a collision with a motorcycle on Route 16.
State police said a 2013 BMW motorcycle collided with the bicyclist on Route 16 at Interstate 93.
The bicyclist, a 29-year-old man from Somerville, was taken to Mass. General Hospital where he later died, police said.
The motorcyclist, a 52-year-old man from Topsfield, was also taken to Mass. General Hospital with injuries police said were not life-threatening.
The names of the two men were not released by state police who continue to investigate.
No further information was available on the circumstances of the accident.
