SOMERVILLE (CBS) -- The following communities have declared snow emergencies and parking bans for the January 29, 2022 storm.

A potentially historic nor'easter could drop two feet of snow or more in parts of Massachusetts.

Belmont: Parking ban starts Friday at 11:45 p.m.

Boston: Parking ban starts at 9 p.m. Friday

Brockton: Snow emergency starts Friday at 6 p.m.

Cambridge: Parking ban starts at 11 p.m. Friday

Everett: Parking ban starts at 6 p.m. Friday

Fall River: Parking ban starts Friday at 6 p.m.

Framingham: Parking ban starts 6 a.m. Saturday; ends 6 a.m. Monday

Lowell: Parking ban starts at 4 p.m. Friday

Lynn: Parking ban starts at 8 p.m. Friday

Medford: Snow emergency starts at 10 p.m. Friday

Methuen: Parking ban starts Friday at midnight; ends Sunday at noon

New Bedford: Parking ban starts Friday at 8 p.m.

Peabody: Parking ban starts Friday at midnight

Plainville:  Parking ban starts Friday at 9 p.m.

Plymouth: Parking ban starts Saturday at 5 a.m.

Quincy: Snow emergency starts Friday at 4 p.m.

Revere: Parking ban starts Friday at 6 p.m.

Salem: Snow emergency starts Friday at midnight

Scituate: Parking ban starts at 12 a.m. Saturday through 6 p.m. Sunday.

Somerville: Snow emergency starts Friday at 4 p.m.

Swansea: Parking ban starts Friday at 10 p.m.; ends Sunday at 8 a.m.

Waltham: Parking ban starts Friday at midnight

Watertown: Snow emergency starts Friday at 10 p.m.

Weymouth: Parking ban starts Saturday at 2 a.m.

Worcester: Parking ban starts Saturday at 12 a.m.
