Final round of rain coming after Saturday's snow
How are you enjoying your April in Massachusetts thus far? Actually, scratch that question, I think I know the answer. Look at it this way, we are building up lots of good weather karma that we can cash in this summer!
Sunday
We will get one final round of rain along the coastline on Sunday along with a chilly onshore wind. We do think that areas west of 495 will begin to dry out and perhaps even catch a glimpse of sunshine later in the day.
Where is spring?
If you hear folks complaining this weekend and asking when spring will arrive, you can say, "It is already here!"
We do get some snow in April most years, about 83% of the of all the recorded Aprils in Boston history in fact.
So far, our rainfall amounts for March and April have been pretty close to average. And finally, despite a couple of very chilly days this week, temperatures are only running about a degree below the average!
Bottom line, April is just doing April things...still, doesn't mean we can't complain about it though!
